Hey.
Does anyone with a white Intel iMac have a thin black border on the left of there screen? It's as if the screen is not situated right. If you just look at your Menu bar on the left and see the gap from the menu bar to the white plastic, is it bigger on the left than the right?
It's only a small thing but i have never noticed it before.
Thanks, Matthew.

My 20" white late-2006 iMac has a narrow black border around the entire
screen; it's about 1.5mm (1/16") on all sides. It must be there by design,
because the opening in the plastic "window frame" is slightly larger than
the specified size of the LCD viewing area (i.e., 20.1" diagonal). Here's a
spec sheet with detailed dimensions for the LCD panel in my iMac:

Edit: On closer examination, the left hand border is a bit wider than
the right -- about 50%. However, I checked the pixel coordinates of
corners of the screen (with Digital Color Meter.app) and the entire
1680 x 1050 "active area" of the LCD is clearly visible.

Same here. Left border very slightly wider than right. The bottom border is also wider than the right. Haven't really noticed it until now, but who looks there and you'll forget about it tomorrow unless someone keeps bumping this thread.
