How do you clean under your mouse button?

I think I have a crumb or something under my mouse button that is making a double clicking like sound. It is getting very annoying and I was wondering if there is a way that I could get that fixed.

do you have a mighty mouse? turn it upside down and roll the scroll ball fast but carefully on a piece of paper.

use a damp cloth to roll the scroll button around, after using a thin slither of paper to get in and around the edges of the scroll button to shift the crap, pulls out noticeable pieces of rubbish ;)
