Hi

I am running Leopard on an iMac and a MBP. I only switched to mac last year and am a bit puzzled about this color sync thing. I installed some printer profiles on my MBP and they had to go into the user-library-color sync-profiles folder. I went to install them on my iMac and I noticed that the color sync utility seems to be in both the user library and the other library ( HDD?) This is not the case on my MBP

Is this normal. Why is color sync in both libraries in my iMac and in which of these should I install the profiles?

Thanks

Willie

This is normal behavior. Mac OS X maintains a global library on the HDD that all users use, and separate user libraries in each user folder for each user. Color profiles, much like fonts, can be either global or user-specific, depending on which library they are stored in.

Thank you for the information. I don't suppose it matters where I put them then because I am the only user of that mac
