I've updated today Mac Pro EFI firmware 1.2, I also downloaded the latest driver from MOTU 896HD.
After that, everything works fine but sound. I can't get to have sound run by quicktime application, neither from Quicktime player nor on finder preview.
Yes, I've checked preferences, and audio inputs and outputs, and all the basic stuff, this is VERY weird. I can see Quicktime works since I see the EQ's leds moving as if sound is being played. But I only can here distorted digital blips...
I gotta say, iTunes and Logic sound perfectly....
