I noticed the other day that my hard drive was making a clicking sound. i called apple tech support and they told me i should replace it ASAP.
Since my computer is still under warrantee, i thought i would go ahead with it.

I went down at apple, and they told me i'd have to pay ~100€ to backup my data. But i can just back it up at home, so thats what i'm doing right now.

Unfortunately the external drive is a FAT32 drive, and it has many files i can't loose, so I can't use any automatic backup programs. No problem i can just drag all the file there right?
The thing is that when i do that, only 58.41GB (out of 65.36GB used) are being copied over. Do i need to see the invisible files and copy those as well? or what should i do?

You could clone your drive, that will preserve your permissions (since FAT32 doesn't have permissions). Hidden files would just be part of the OS, and hidden files, inside of visible files are coppied automatically.
