itunes 4 & ipod

have a little problem with i tunes for some reason its put all the tracks in alphabetical order and not track order anyone know how to sort this back to track order ?

also is there anyway to transfer the music from my ipod to a mac ?

To transfer music from ipod to mac you have to put ipod in firewire disk mode, then in osx you have to turn on showing of hiden files. THis will allow ipod to be browsed completly just like a regular disk.

To transfer the music back to your computer you can use ipodrip (http://www.versiontracker.com/php/search.php?plt%5B%5D=macosx&mode=basic&action=search&str=ipodrip&x=0&y=0)

To sort an album by track # just click the albulm tab so that it is ascending (arrow facing up).

If you want to see the actual track number just click on Edit-View Options then select Track Number

Are you running Jaguar? If so you have to download Version 1.0.2
You most likely downloaded 1.1 which is for Panther.

hi im running 10.2.6 but when i download from the link all i get is a load script text do i need to copy this somewhere ?

there should be a Fetch Art.pkg file in there which is an installer.
