My dock turned translucent....help!!! Pictures attached!

My docked this morning turned 100% translucent, rather than reflective. Gone is the abbey road style crosswalk, even on the side. I tried killall Dock 3 times, nada. I restarted...nada. I'm running 10.5.2. I have done absolutely nothing to the dock, no add-ons, nothing. What should I do?

Restart again, then repair permissions.

My finder icon is missing...Do I have to repair permissions for that too? If so, how?

Go into Disk Utility and click your disk, then "Repair".

If im not mistaken, there is/are terminal commands so adjust reflectiveness, and Opacity/translucency etc.

There are also programs you can download to do thast stuff for you.

So my question is... does anyone else use your mac? and If so, does that particular person have knowledge with macs and would be able to change your dock around beit throuhg terminal or an app, as a prank?
