Hi, Update keeps telling me the Firmware for the 2600 is available even when I install it.

I have 2 cards.

Please help

Did you reboot? the install appears to be a two stage process.

I had a similar issue where it would start the firmware installer when I would reboot or shutdown(after installing it through software update which merely downloaded it) and it wouldn't let me finish going through the prompts before shutting down. I ended up having to download it from here (http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/atiradeonhd2600xtfirmwareupdate.html) and running the installer that way.
