This one is new on me. I'm a lifetime Apple guy and after installing Leopard then updating it (clean install) this Silver Door G4 will just not sleep, period. I do not have wake on modem ring, I have Energy Saver telling the Mac to shut down hard drives when possible, yadda-yadda.
I've removed old system prefs, deleted monitor prefs, zapped PRAM, etc. I've done everything except drop kick the damned thing.
This one has me quite pissed off and I'm left wondering who out there has the same problem with this? Older model G4 Silver Door Mac. 1.25Ghz Processor. 4 gigs of RAM and new Seagate Barracuda 700mb drive and the original Apple internal 80 gig drive, too.
I am happy to give $50 bucks to the first person that helps me fix this and I will send payment via PayPal. HELP HELP HELP. thanks.
