Unlocking stuff in Brawl...

I rented it too see if i'd like it first because I haven't gotten into the smash brothers thing yet but I did buy Melee used on ebay last month and didn't really like it. Was a bit skeptical about Brawl but it's an excellent game! One question i have is how do you unlock stuff. i go to gamefaqs.com and it says "play 10 matches to get Luigi" or whatever... i do that but still don't have him. what's up?

If you play the single player game you'll get most of the characters.

Do you mean the subspace emissaries thing?

just play through subspace, then go to gamefaqs and visit sites for wolf, jiggly and toon link, very easy.

If you beat Subspace Emissary you'll have unlocked every character except three of them.

Or, you can play 400 or so Group Brawls with friends to unlock every character.
