I don't mean RIGHT now, but what are on your playlists at the moment?
I'm listening to some of the classics at the moment; a lot of Massive Attack and Portishead, but it's getting a bit heavy and want something a bit lighter to listen to!!
I've been listening to a lot of Sia Furler recenctly too, her new album rocks. Loving 'death by chocolate' and 'you have been loved'
suggest me something similar to Morcheeba that will cheer me up (there are only so many times you can listen to Black Milk)

Mind Elevation was weak. Smoker's Delight, Carboot Soul and In A Space Outta Sound... in that order. IMO.
The mother of MR chilled threads. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=102049) ;)

Thievery Corporation got me into Downbeat. Kruder & Dorfmeister, too. As for Trip Hop, get Massive Attack's Mezzanine. That oughta get you hooked in no time.

If you want to get mellow, and a bit acoustic give a listen to Tierra Negra's album, "Turn of the Tide." Also, for real late night, quiet contemplation check out Port D'Andratx on album called "Balearic Affairs Vol.1" or some tracks by Moontrane Conductors. If you're in a slightly more jazzy mood, but still downbeat take a listen to "Soulshine" album by DJ Cam.

I recommend Superaquello. They are not exactly trip-hop or techno, then neither is Sia Furler. I am a fan of many of the above musicians and Superaquello has become one of my recent favorites. You can listen to all of their albums here, http://www.superaquello.com/
The music is in Spanish, so if you are into that (I am) then check them out. I highly recommend. And you can buy directly from the artist via their website, which is an added bonus IMO.
Other recommendations:
Miho Hatori
Broadcast
Me'shell Ndegeocello
JDILLA
If you like Sia than you probably already listen to Zero 7. But I'll list it just in case...
These are just a few off the top. They don't all fit neatly within a genre definition, but I like them, and I'm a big trip-hop fan.

Will defo check out BOC.
Anyone have all the Cafe Del Mar CDs? I've got the first 12 and if i could only take 12 albums to a desert island they would be going with me. I know it's not summer yet, but they're nice and get me in the mood for the beach!!
Ah! Lets have a Long Hot Summer!!

I stopped buying them when they switched to 2CD format and raised prices to ridiculous amounts. That aside, I think Volume 7 is the best (Beautiful Strange FTW!).

The Hôtel Costes series mixed by Stéphane Pompougnac (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hôtel_Costes) [wikipedia] are some of the most chill DJ sets I've ever heard.
Of course theres always the good ol' DJ Kicks series by Studio !K7 (http://www.discogs.com/label/Studio+!K7) [discogs]. I particularly like the Erlend Oye (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:gnfuxq9aldte), Thievery Corporation (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:kpfqxqqkld6e), and Tiga (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:fpfpxqlaldfe) [AMG] installments.
I think they may be on iTunes too, not sure...

Café Del Mar 7 is the only one I own. I've heard them so many times at work etc... that I can't stand hearing them any more.
Hotel Costes is good stuff =]

Been listening a lot to DJ River's mixsets lately.
Lots of variety there..... I prefer this over the Café del Mar series.
You can pick them up here (http://www.djriver.com/comp_menu_.htm).
Jon Hopkins' 'Opalescent' album is also a current favourite.
And I cannot get enough of Ott's amazing remix of the Shpongle track 'Around The World In A Tea Daze'.
