hey guys,

I bought a macbook and after using it and stuff, i decided i would be happier with a macbook pro. NOw im still within my 14 days period. If I call apple tommorow, will they be "glad" to let me upgrade to a macbook pro without asking me for the 10% restocking fee and let me the student price of the macbook pro (used the student for the macbook)

thanks

That's up to the manager of the callcenter at the time.

I had my SR macbook pro for a week and called in the morning, release day of the penryns and they said no. I called that afternoon and they said yes.

Needless to say, my new pro is due in by Tuesday of this coming week at the latest :D

Hey, I thought I'd put this out there.

I'm actually going to make the switch the other way. I have a SR macbook pro, and I'm feeling like I want to go to a macbook. So if you would be interested in making some kind of switch or something let me know.

I am not familiar, but if it is just a 14 day return policy, can't you just do a full return, and then repurchase? I was under the impression that you had to pay restock after the 14 days, but I am not sure as I have never had to do this.

If you've broken the seal, you pay 10% restocking fee. It is returnable within 14 days. After that, no returns.
