accessing some icons on the mac....

im trying to get to specifically the trash icon and the @ icon. where are they at? i want to change the icon to something else. also how do i change the system prefs icon, finder icon etc.? when i try to change it it doesnt let me. whats goin on? anyone know?

CandyBar (http://www.iconfactory.com/cb_home.asp) will change most system icons for you.

thank you for that link! it changed the icons i wanted to change that i thought i could never get to change. now i need to figure out how to change my @ icon, finder icon and system prefs icon.

I've used that method to change a few system icons during my icon customizing fervor. Between it and CandyBar there's not much that can't be altered.
