I swear my music sounds better from my computer than from my iPhone

I got these new headphones, Bose QuietComfort 3, and I'm guessing with the incredible improvement in headphone quality over my old iPhone earbuds, I can notice a difference between my iPhone and MacBook Pro. Is the sound card better in the MBP? I always figured MP3's would sound the same on any device, since its such a simple file format to read.
 
if you are using the same headphones they should sound the same. Check the settings for your equalizer.
 
if your listnening from itunes it should sound the same in headphones...both kinda crappy 😉

low quality mp3's (mp3's in general are crappy and cut out a bit of the lower end of the spectrum ((bass))
