Ever since the upgrade to Leopard, Mail has totally been screwed up. I still can't send email in a consistent manner. The 10.5.2 helped a little, now I can send email sometimes instead of never. Is there a way to reinstall just the Mail app?

You could reinstall Mail by trashing it and then doing a basic reinstall of Leopard. More than likely your problems are due to either a bad setting for your mail server or a permissions problem.

It's probably some settings you have...what is your mail service? Not sure you can just reinstall mail.

I dont know. the settings have remained consistent from Tiger and they've worked then. The main problem is that when I write an email and send it, the program will sometimes just store it in the Outbox and will not send it right away. When it "feels" like it, it will send it but it will take a long time to do so. Also, the program doesn't let me delete any of the unnecessary drafts that I have accumulated. The program feels buggy.
