Hi
Wold someone please help how I can play the dvd files after extraction using Mac The Ripper 2.6.6. I have saved these in a folder but DVD Player in Mac does not recognise the format of the files!
Can you play these directly or have to get them burnt onto disc minus the protection right (which Mac The Ripper would have done).
I would like to see these on my Mac..... any ideas?
Thanks

Point the DVD player to play the VIDEO_TS folder, not the files inside it. It should play just fine.

Download VLC (if you haven't already) and open up the VIDEO_TS folder in that. If that doesn't work then you may need to try ripping the DVD again.

What movie is it? Older movies can be ripped with no problem using MTR 2.66. Any current movie needs MTR 3.O which is a available with donation only.
If you ripped it correctly with MTR, just open DVD Player, select, open DVD file, and select the Video_TS folder. You then need to select Menu from the DVD Player options or Play. It will not start automatically.
If it does not open. re-rip with MTR. Make sure you know when the file is saved.
