Download stack gone?!?!?!

I'm a new mac owner. Some how the downloads stack is gone. I still have the documents one. I can go to go and find the downloads folder but for some reason I can't get it to become a stack again... HELP please.... sorry noob question.Thanks
 
drag it from its location in your open finder window (users/you/downloads) back into the dock.

edit: right side of the dock divider
