I've been a Cingular / AT&T customer for a long time, so instead of getting myself a new ipod, I decided to go for the 16gb iphone about a month ago. For a number of reasons, I don't like this phone at all. I would rather get an 80gb ipod, a new cell phone, and get rid of this thing.

Can anyone help me proceed from here? I would like to keep my AT&T service, but sell the iphone online...is this possible?

Gracias,
Julia

Just sell it.
Pretty simple really. Be sure to keep your SIM card.
The new owner will either need to unlock it or get a new SIM from at&t.

Just get a new phone and use the SIM that came with the iPhone. Then wipe the iPhone and sell it. The buyer will then need to buy a SIM from at&t or unlock it for their own purposes.

I'll give you $20 for it. Final offer!!!!

Seriously, sell it on eBay. You should just about make your money back.

Yeah try selling it here or on Craigslist then move on to eBay. I'm sure if you unlock it you can get a premium from some int'l buyers.
