Headphones jack only inserting half way ?>?>?

I have tried to insert my headphones tonight to listen to my logic pro 8...and for some unknown reason the jack is only inserting half way, my other audio port is fine,, i can see a little l.e.d bulb at the end....could this of dislodged ?
i dont want to force it & break it,might void the warrenty....
if any one has any ideas it would be most appreciated...

has this happened to any one else????

Do any other headphones insert ok? Like iPod headphones? Something be snapped off into it.

I'd sent it off straightaway, unless you can see some sort of object lodged in there that you can pull out with a pair of tweezers.
