My Software Update is not running automatically. I checked the System Preferences pane, and its set to check Daily. I did it manually and a ton of updates show up.

I using a non-Admin account, could this be the problem? Is there a fix for this?

I have been having the same issue-- I am an admin on my computer and have tried numerous settings, but it only works once in a blue moon-- I usually read about the updates on MacRumors and manually go from there-- hopefully someone will have some insight as to why this happens!

wow, so you are running as an admin all the time and you also have this problem?

Lets see if someone has a solution or explanation.
