I'm thinking of getting the Line 6 Tone Port for use with my iMac. Does anyone have any advice or opinions on this? I see that you need to use drivers for it to work, that makes me a little dubious about it. If anyone knows of any issues with this piece of hardware can they please say?
 
I haven't tried that specific product, but I've used the Line 6 TonePort GX, Pod XT, and KB37 with an iMac in the past (the plastic Core 2 Duo generation). They all worked fine. Didn't have any problems editing tones in GearBox, and I was able to record fine in Logic Pro and Garageband.
