i bought a used ibook g4 12"(2005) off ebay and it very good except i guess the previous owner deleted the touchpad driver. ive tried one called sidetrack but it doesn't work and i was wondering if any one could tell me where i could download a driver that will work? :apple::apple:

The trackpad driver is built into OS X. A simple reinstall (not an archive and install) will fix it.

Also, are you sure he didn't just turn it off in the System preferences? I recall there was a way to do that, or a utility, because some people (myself included) have trouble taping the trackpad when typing then loosing what we typed.

yeah, im sure when i try to turn it on it says "the trackpad tab is hidden because you do not have a track pad installed on your computer"?
