I might be a bit behind the times (holidays) but the Nintendo GameCube uses a PowerPC chip clocked at 485MHz, named Gekko, with its own custom graphics chip - Flipper.

Machine:
80MB RAM
8cm 1.5GB capacity optical disc
Built 4 controller ports
Digital & Analog A/V output
2 memory card slots

Accessories:
New style controller
Memory Card
Gameboy Advance to Gamecube cable
Modem (56k V.90)
Broadband Adapter
Digital A/V cable
RF Switch

This thing is nice to play on. The controller is so well designed. graphics below the sony 2 but still render very nicely. small and compact. all round fun!

NGC rules.

if you haven't gotten Super Monkey Ball, get it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. its still the best game for the cube.

GameCube is a nice looking machine, my main thing with my ps2 is it's dvd player. It does have some top games too, final fantasy mainly....if squaresoft went to the game cube, i would follow them definiaty.

the good this is that nintendo wont lose any money over this.
since when do people use 8cm DVDs? They aint going to get anything stolen.

that was a good this about cartridges! nobody paid for stolen software.
