Finally some good luck! With question...

- First my 2.66 Mac Pro was stolen and insurance are still playing games :rolleyes:

- Then my MBP of two months was in and out of workshop for an entire month with various issues :mad:

I finally received it back today with a 2.6 board instead of the original 2.4.
So I'm pretty stoked after my string of bad luck.

It was a Merom when i bought it. Any way of checking whether it may now be a Penryn? Not that it matters a huge deal but would just be interested to check.

And before you think I'm boasting of my luck here, the bad luck still easily outweighs the good..

Yeah. Having your Mac Pro stolen outweighs a lot of things.

Thanks yeah I figured out it was Merom, still a bonus to get a free update!
And hallelujah insurance just paid out for the Mac Pro literally about 15 minutes ago..thank the iGods!

Heck yes! Get that Nehalem Mac Pro when they come out! It'll be a beast!
