I'd like to move my photos from an Adobe library (PS Elements Organiser) on the old PC to my lovely new MacBook
iPhoto looks quite nice, but I have two newbie questions which I can't find answered in the forum.
1. Is it possible to tell iPhoto to use an external USB disc for my photos - I don't want my library filling up the MacBook disc and I feel safer with it on an external store (where I back it up onto DVDs and also access it on other machines - both Apple and PC)
2. Is it possible to import the database information from Adobe Photoshop Elements Organiser (v5) on Windoze. It looks like iPhoto has much the same sort of structure with categories, tags etc so there ought to be some sort of import.
Any advice, pleases
