just installed ziphone and none of the packages will install. i keep getting ERROR package download failed.

Are you on Mac or PC ? What browser are you using ?

Sounds as though you didn't Restore as a New iPhone. It will have problems if you Restore from Backup.

mac. safari on iphone and the comp. it installed correctly bc i downloaded one tweak. all the rest dont work.

so i should restore my iphone first through itunes?

From the official ZiPhone download site. I guess that's what you'll have to do! It worked fine when I did it though, but I'm running FF.

i just reinstalled it and it seems to be working but....

now i get error : this version require firmware 1.1[123]

should i have not downloaded 1.1.4?

what is FF?

i redid it and it worked but im on 1.1.4 and everything is for 1.1.[123] right?

FF=Firefox.

Running my iPhone on 1.1.4 and ziPhone unlocked and jailbroke it without any problems.

i fixed it. had to restore my iphone then reinstall. and delete the queue before download the apps.

Yeah if you were trying to update it to 1.1.4 there were probably conflicts between files. If you're jailbroken, restoring is the better solution for any firmware.
