John Hodgeman, known as "PC" to viewers of Apple's Get a Mac ads, was viewed to have an iPhone on Wednesday's Daily Show with John Stewart (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewTVSeason?i=276649485&id=129455338&s=143441) (iTunes link).

Perhaps to add to the irony and humor, Hodgeman then used the iPhone upside down when he seemingly answered a call.

In real life John Hodgeman is a professed Mac user (http://thephoenix.com/Article.aspx?id=23181&page=3), however TV depictions of him using Apple products can be humorous.

I mean, regardless how you look at it, he's still an Apple Spokesperson. Apple, of course, will provide him with free (or price greatly reduced) stuff...

I would say free. Those ads are pretty popular....

Well, yes, in the case of an iPhone, iPod, or laptop. Apple probably doesn't give away fully configured Mac Pros.

Careful! PC's a double agent - unconvertable.

John Hodgeman is one of the funniest guys out there today. Love his work in the ads and his other work in general (especially his appearances on This American Life).

We know the PC is no stranger to apple products, in one of the first commercials we saw that he has an iPod too.

According to his blog yesterday:
"JUST TO BE CLEAR, I was not intending to use my iPhone upside-down in order to make a "joke."
I WAS MERELY DISTRACTED by the gigantic and authentic STOCK TICKER, and the fact that if I broke it, it would cost the show ten thousand ACTUAL DOLLARS.
That is all."

Actually, I sync my iPhone with my PC that's being used to serve files, share a printer, and stream iTunes to my AppleTV.
So, yes, my "PC's got an iPhone".... :p

Funny thing is, the guy that plays "the Mac" (can't remember his name) in the commercials knows absolutely nothing about Macs. or computers.
I saw him on an interview with Leno talking about "Live Free or Die Hard" and he said it was very fun to do the ads even though he had no clue how to use a Mac.

seems that hes taking the whole role in stride, and having a good time with it overall, which is nice.

Don't believe everything a comic says:
http://thephoenix.com/Article.aspx?id=23181&page=3 oops, I see you mean Mac not PC.

No mac uses a mac too, though I should point out that before those commercials he used neither and when I say that I don't mean he used linux I mean he didn't use computers full stop.
I think the work on the commercials made him decide to try using one and well he's mac so why not get a mac.

John Hodgman can also be seen using an iPhone and Macbook Pro in this episode of Boing Boing TV (http://tv.boingboing.net/2007/11/16/john-hodgmans-mole-m.html).

For more irony, phonetically the original posters name sounds like "will read."

Glad you gave that person a link for punctuation. Is it really that hard to add a few more characters?
