need some advice on jailbreaking

My friend wants me to jailbreak her iphone for her to get summerboard/customize themes on the ipod. Having only prior experience with my touch, I need a little help. What is the worst case scenario of doing something like this? Is bricking an iphone really easy to do? Also, what are the side effects, like will you lose all contacts when restoring?

Use ZiPhone, it will not lose any current data on the phone unless you restore via iTunes. The chances are very minimal that you will brick the iPhone using ZiPhone and doing a Jailbreak only.

Bottom line: its safe, download it and use it. :D
