Do they actually have any requirements or do you just pay to get in? It would be great if they actually required developers to actually showcase their talent to weave out all of the other morons who will produce buggy apps.

Oh oh! I have a request (and it'd be great if any developer could do this) I want an application that let's me take my entire iTunes library with me. Not all the songs and such, but I have a library of music and movies and there are too many to fit on the iPod touch. So when I am out at a music store or something I would like to know what I have at home on my computer, even if I don't have the tracks with me right then. I would still have all the meta data on it.
Thanks for listening

Aloha SleepingSicknes,
If he were to tell you, he would be in violation of the NDA.

I noticed the $99 offer was down pretty soon after the reject letters started coming out.
I logged in the other day and saw the $99 offer was back up. I didn't bother submitting it as I'm just too busy these days, but I wonder if they've expanded their search considering all the negative publicity they received over this...

How do you weave out morons? Out of wet reed or something? I think it's great that more developers are let in. As long as there are trials for every program, the peer review process in itunes will weed out the morons. Competition is a good thing.

:D Too busy to actually develop something useful!
I actually considered buying a MBP to bring to work, since we just got bought out and are pretty much in maintenance mode at this point. No time at home though (3 kids).

i agree! that would be terrific-it's something that's hard to keep track of, especially with growing media collections...

Excellent idea! I'd like to see Apple make this part of iTunes on the iPhone and take it once step further...allow you to select a song or movie you haven't synched and give you the option to download or stream it to the iPhone from your home computer via wifi or (if possible) EDGE. If you don't have enough space left then it gives you a list of the least played songs on your iPhone and you can select which ones you want to remove.

I ordered everything and it seemed to go through, but I received no confirmation via e-mail. Did you immediately get a certificate and confirmation. Hmmm... My credit card was charge but nothing from Apple.
