I have a SimpleTech 250GB external but I cannot add or remove data from the hard drive. It says "The item "_____" could not be moved because "SimpleDrive" cannot be modified"

I don't know....
However, I just remembered I had the hard drive installed on a Windows computer and then just tried to use it on my Mac. I am going to try to re-install the hard drive on the Mac and see if that works..
