Here's the Dilly. I just got Toast 6.0 and I am wondering what the heck is up with the DVD burning capabilities on it. I am used to 5.2 where you burn a DVD by naming a DVD, and then dropping a Video_TS file in. I looked around with Toast 6 and it allows me to do so, but as a Data disc. does this still work? I assumed that it would, or do you have to make a DVD-Video? If that is the case, I find it very retarded and I think i wasted my money.

Also, How does the Super VCD, or VCD option work? Is it very easy to do? Ok, thats it for now......

Under the Data section, select DVD-rom (UDF) from the drawer and bung the VIDEO_TS folder in as usual, it burns as Toast 5 did.

I think the DVD-video is to allow creation of DVDs from raw video input from cameras or file, you'll notive in the video section the check boxes fro Add Menu etc. I think that's a mini authoring package.

The VCD options require a video file, but I can't remember which one. If you have access to DVDSP or another app that produces a VIDEO_TS folder, then make the DVD, the quality is much better.
