so what you guy/girls doing for Easter?

well me spend time with family and celebrate my sis B-Day..lots of food.😀

Well, I'm off but my wife is working 7a-7p so I'll have to go to church by myself which isn't what I'd like. Oh well, there ought to be a lot of good fellowship anyway. 😀 There will also be no lamb this year (no crying emoticon!?).
 
well, I am actually going to my Grandmother's church. Then going to my Aunt and Uncle's for lunch/dinner. it'lll be grand.

And I am religious.


anyone else Christian or Jewish or Catholic? 😕
 
Probably just my daily routine (Atheist, here). Still, I get a few bucks and an egg or two, just because. Like Christmas, I guess.
 
Flying back to GA, and sitting in my dorm all afternoon before starting another 10 weeks of college AKA Hell-Camp the next day.
 
Another Atheist here. Usual routine and eating my 1 Easter Egg that I bought for myself. Mmm Cadbury's Creme Egg *licks lips*
 
I'm Jewish so I'm working 9-5. Time and a half for a holiday I don't even celebrate, woot! Gotta love those goyem and their holidays 😛
 
Suffering yet another terrible meal with my racist, prejudice, obnoxious, *******s that I call my grandparents.

We don't even celebrate easter either, I have no idea why the hell we're doing this.

Mine are racist and prejudiced too, and they're still the nicest people on earth. You gotta face it, the times are changing, but that doesn't mean the people do. I'll bet your grandparent's world view was totally OK when they were your age.
 
Im sure in 50 years our grandkids will call us racist too.

There are 3 big days the stores are closed, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Oh no, you don't know them. They're *******s for a million other reasons I don't have the time to type out now 😉
 
I'll be bidding my spring break adieu. This week went by too fast, but the good news is I successfully achieved my goal of "doing nothing productive."

Props to myself! 😀


One more month of school until summer...I hope I can manage. 🙄

My grandfather was a bit of a racist. I loved watching Formula One with him in the mid 90's. "That cheating German BASTARD" he would shout at Michael Schumacher. I gave up trying to tell him only one of those three words was accurate 🙂


As for us, (my other half and I) watching the grand prix at Sepang, and then I'll be doing a bit of work to get ahead for next week so I can butter up my boss and ask for a few extra days off in September, while she'll be down at the nearby horse sanctuary helping out and then I'll be doing a nice chunk of Roast Pork, with potatoes, parsnips, veg, gravy, stuffing (damn, used all the Bacon on Friday..can't do little stuffing-in-bacon-rolled-up things ).

Ooo - crackling. Can't wait 🙂

Then eating the choccie eggs we've got to mark the arrival of Spring in a non-religious way 🙂

Screw it - with our forecast, we'll spend it laughing at the cat as she goes into the garden and tries to figure out snow.

My wife and I (usually my wife before we go married) would spend Easter with her dad. She really can't stand him but just put up with it.

When we lived in Dayton he would call her only on holidays and her b-day. Now that we live in California and he lives only 20 minutes away, he barely even calls. For example, he called today, the day before Easter, and wanted us to show up tomorrow.

My wife said "no, I'm not playing this game dad. I try calling you (and he never calls back), and you only call when you want to see me. I have other plans."

Me, I'm staying out of it and calling my family back in Ohio.

Going for a nice Chinese meal with my Grandmother. This thread just taught me that Easter Sunday is tomorrow.
