Mix movie on mac then burn on WinPC DVD Burner?

I just received an email from Apple that my 15" Powerbook won't ship until the end (very end) of December. I'm thinking of switching to an iBook instead now. Could I create a movie with either iMovie or Final Cut Express, then transfer (firewire or via my 802.11g network) the file and burn it via my WinPC's DVD burner?

All you would have to do is get the movie in the right format on the Mac and burn it as data on the PeeC. I think...

Thanks for the quick reply! Also, would the iBook "handle" Final Cut Express with 640MB of RAM?
