Mighty Mouse problems

My wireless mighty mouse will only scroll down not up what can i do to fix it its really annoying

Check out some posts on other threads or the apple web site about how to clean it.

IMHO, the MM is total ***** for mostly that very reason. Download steermouse and use any freakin' mouse you want to, mac or windows. Free.

yeah i read about the mouse having problems before i bought but i really like how it feels damn thing runs threw batteries like no other though every few weeks i have to change them ugh ill check apple thanks

well i fixed it what apple said was useless but a post on the fourm did the trick in case anyone else is having the same problems take a piece of paper turn the mouse upside down and scroll in all directions for a 1-2 min all the dirt will end up on the paper

i have a wireless mm and love it, but yes it does eat batteries pretty quick.🙁

Nice tip - I'll try it tomorrow on a MM with the exact same problem... only scrolls down. I quite like the MM design, except that I keep seeing that little balls go bad.

another solution is to buy another mouse.

i use a microsoft laser mouse for my MBP and mac PRO.

This is a very common problem that probably happens to every mighty mouse owner. I went to the local grocery store and purchased some isopropyl alcohol. Just dab some of that on a piece of cloth, turn your mighty mouse upside down and rub on the ball of the mouse. Do that for like 30 seconds or until all the dirt particles break down and dislodge. Should work like a charm.
