Corrupt DV file

Hi, i have a very sentimental video i made on imovie, after i created a DV file i deleted all the raw footage. The file worked fine for weeks, then out of the blue the file seems to be corrupt, when i open it a message comes up\'the end of the file was reached.\'
I\'ve tried most things and had no help from the \'genius bar\' at my local apple store. All they could suggest was i hit the forums.

Also the file is the same size as it was before it was corrupt.

Please help as i do not want to loose this footage
