iPod Playing Playlists Consecutively

Does anyone know if there's a way to set more than one playlist to be played (one after the other) in iTunes AND on the iPod? In other words, if I wanted to play, say, Rock, Movie Scores, and Classical in that order, can it be done WITHOUT starting each one manually OR making one giant playlist with those three in it?

you could use a smart playlist. But this doesn't seem to keep the order.

Thanks for the suggestion--maybe that will help somehow; I'll look into it. BTW, I'm a 'trainguy' too, in that I work on the railroad. You?
