Everytime I start my comp, or restart, the date and time will be set totally off from what it actually is which I would have to manually fix. When I Safe mode started, it says that there is a date time PMU problem. I tried shutting the comp off, holding down shift, ctrl, option down for 5 seconds, then starting the computer but it didnt help. PLEASE HELP!!!

Are you running Windows (through bootcamp) on this computer?

What type of computer is it? An iBook or Powerbook? If so, then perform a PMU reset (make sure you're following the set of directions specified for your model computer). Link

Date and Time

I am on OS X 10.4.11, Ibook 12" G4. I did the PMU reboot on this which says to turn the comp off, then hold shift, control, option down for 5 secs, then start up the comp. It seems like it didnt do anything cuz I am still having issues with the date and time!!! Help Meee please!

Did you press shift + control + option + the power button for 5 seconds? ...That's what the directions for your model say, correct?
