I just got my iPhone, and it will not connect to my wireless network.
I restarted my router to make sure that was not the problem.
I know that I am using the correct key.
The iPhone says that it is connected, but it just has the edge E.
Please help!

If it happens again, try seeing if there is an IP conflict between the iPhone and another node on your network. That happened to me and didn't receive an error or message from either device. Just had to trouble shoot until I got to the routing table and active user list.
Hopefully my pain will be tour gain in the future.

Ok, so I got my home network working, but I cannot connect to my work wi-fi. It is probably the same problem, but the issue is that I do not have access to the router to reset it or change settings or anything. Any ideas?
If I go to the static page, and type in the IP address that I get from my IT guy will it work? Would that even help?
EDIT: Aparently there is something wrong with our router, because nothing will connect.

Depending upon a multitude of factors, your work wifi may have many restrictions. For example, do you know if it is restricting to a list of MAC addresses (Machine Address Code, not Macintosh - LOL), or is there some kind of VPN that is required to access wifi at the workplace? Do you need to log into the wifi from a webpage (much like Wildflower Bread Co) before gaining passthrough to the gateway?
Are you even getting an IP or is it not even obtaining one?

Found this place useful to connect to your home router. Just click on "Get started" from the main page and click on the relevant link to access your router.
I've used the DNS they suggest for a few months now on router and PC and find my access faster, but that's up to you.
