iPod touch Overheating...

I've been noticing this more and more with my iPod touch is that, when it's syncing or even just charging, that it will get really hot on the back. I've gone back and forth from being jailbroken, and still it gets hot. I'm on 1.1.4 and I was one of the original with a week 37 all the way back in September. Any suggestions? I'm going to a mall next week with an Apple Store inside, should I talk to a genius and get a new one?😕
 
All electronics get warm/hot while charging. This isn't a problem. You can take it into the store, but I doubt that they'll be able to help much.
