Hi all,

Since a few weeks I can't access the Music Store from iTunes. The progress bar moves about half an inch, then stops and nothing. iTunes doesn't crash.
My Macbook (same software versions) can access the Store over the same network.
I've checked my firewall etc.
I've uninstalled iTunes, reinstalled it, doesn't help.

What could cause this problem?
Something in Safari (does iTunes use Safari to access the Music Store?)?

Any ideas what I might try to solve this?

A very old post on the Apple site (2004), not sure if it is any help to you, but it is well known that iTunes does not deal well with proxy servers.

I have weird problems with iTunes as well - it can access cddb but not Apple Store - so it IS connecting to t'interweb, but not completely, bizarre.
