Loosing guarantee when using ziphone with ipod touch?

one simple question:

When i jailbreak my ipod touch with ziphone, do i loose my guarantee then?
I read somewhere that ziphone dont down/upgrades the bootloader of the ipod touch, so that i dont loos my guarantee from apple.

Technically Jailbreaking yout iPod Touch is a void of the warranty...But if you just restore then you should be fine

Yes it's a void of warranty. But if something happens, restore it, take it to the Apple store, and don't tell them.
