Microphone not being recognized in XP

In my mac OS..works great. It works in Parallels too.

For some reason nothing happens when I try using ventrilo in Bootcamp. Driving my hair out, can anyone help?

Did you check which input device was selected in the Sound Options Control Panel? You might want to check it in Ventrilo as well.
