Anybody got a mac pro enclosure? I am making a PC for gaming and really don't like a lot of cases so I thought maybe I could hack up a mac pro case. Anybody willing to sell me a mac pro case with the HDD bays and ram cage thing? Please....:o

Non-interest. If you have no need for the items or don't like the price, items, payment method, or other terms, ignore the thread. Do not post negative remarks about the sale or seller based on their offer, or suggest to others that they buy other products or buy/trade at other sites. Do not post unsolicited price advice or comparisons of the offer with those from other sources. Do not try to derail somebody else's sale by posting in the thread. I actually do have one. It's got a square cut out of one side, though. Aside from that I think it's in pretty good condition. Shoot me a pm if you're interested. And no, I didn't cut it, it was like that before I got a hold of it

Ok, this is an older thread, but I am looking again. The sale never went through because of the fact that I found if you want an ATX mobo in there, you have to cut out a couple of drive bays. I am trying to keep the cost under $150 including the ramcage, optical drive cage, etc. I do not need the PSU though.

Do you know what type of mobo fits in there?
Thanks.

I say get an ATX case and be done with it. You will have to do a lot of conversion on the Mac Pro case, and why pretend? It's not a MacPro.
Lian Li makes some really nice looking cases.

Both have the cheese grater looking fronts and push a ton of air.
