About 10 days ago I picked up a Macbook Air as I was doing a specific role where all I really wanted was an ultra-portable Mac. Of course, life isn't that simple and our contract was terminated yesterday. I've picked up another piece of work but for that, the Air just isn't cut out for it due to the lack of RAM and HDD. Due to the way the client works, I can't get around the storage space issue with an external HDD and I can't change the way they work.

So, it looks like I need to replace the Air with another laptop fairly urgently.

Its in as-new condition, boxed and I have the original sales receipt.

Its the 1.6GHz model with the 80Gb HDD.

I'd be looking for £1050 for it which would include insured shipping within the UK. I'm also expecting a spare power supply adapter to arrive from Apple today or tomorrow which I'll include.

I've not traded on here before, but have been on eBay for many years and can refer you to my account on there which has 200+ positive feedback. Obviously due to the sum of money involved, I'm also more than happy to provide scanned proof of my ID, address etc to anyone interested in doing a deal.

Thanks,

Mike.

Why don't you just return it, you are well within the fourteen day return period.

Because I never bought from Apple and its not unopened so I can't just return it unless its faulty. As soon as you remove the plastic covering on the laptop you're knackered by the look of things.

Apple UK actually offer a no quibble 14 day return policy (even if opened). I bought a Mac Mini when they first came out, used if for a week, wasn't impressed, so returned it and got a full refund.

My suggestion would be return it to an apple store asap
