Just got my new WD 1TB HD for my MP. Pluged in and I got "input/output error" message too. I know I'm not alone with this Mac OS bug. Then there comes an alternative way of formatting HD to NTFS format in parallels and converting to HFS+ by Disk Utility. Does anyone know how to format the HD in parallels. I have hard time finding the internal HD in winXP😕 parallels. Thanks ahead!
