NSLog seems to no longer write anything to the debug console.

Anyone else run into this?

Update:

I just realized it is now writing the messages to the Mac's console. Weird.

where are these release notes? on the web? or in the .dmg? I checked what I thought were the web release notes and i didn't see anything about NSLog.

Apple's pages are really a mess right now. Hopefully they clean it up.

Thanks! I've been looking all over for that. You're right, there's no organization to the documents at all right now, and it seems lots of things are out of date or slightly wrong.

Thanks for starting this thread, I was just about to ask the same question. :)

Apple really seems to have botched things with this latest update. Why would a development IDE print to a system console rather than... *gasp* the console in the IDE?
