MBP Battery

Hi

My MBP wont hold a full charge. The red light on the cable is always red and never goes green anymore.

I have the app coconut and its saying 71 load cycles 21 month old

current batt capacity 4833 mAh
original batt cap 5500 mAh

does this mean its time for a new batt?

With only that many cycles it appears to be on target with the maximum capacity. Is it taking a long time or is it just no charging? Have you tried letting it charge overnight with the computer sleeping/shutdown?

no i have never tried leaving it on over night will give it a go thanks for the reply :)
