What would be a good way, if possible, to change the colors and such o the icons in my dock? I wanna make them all black and white, with some splashes of red in there. Also, any other parts of my OS that I could customize to the same color scheme would be nice.

Oh, and I have Leopard, 10.5.2, if you need that info.

GUI Modification of any sort with any version of Mac OS X has the potential to be difficult.

ShapeShifter is great for modifying the UI, but has it's bugs and limitations.

As far as the icons go, you'd have to download icons for each item and manually apply each icon to each application by hand.

So it's a tedious process, but it can be done? Would you know of any apps other than ShapeShifter that can do it? I don't have a lot to lose by doing this. I have all my stuff backed up, and would have no real problem reinstalling Leopard if need be...

Also, I went to the ShapeShifter website, and it said that it does not currently work on 10.5.

I use Candybar sometimes and at other times I use Docker.
