I bought one off of eBay for $4.99 delivered. Works fine and I can leave it in my car attached to an old pair of Apple headphones from my 1st Gen Shuffle.

I was foolish enuff to buy the Belkin one, which worked perfectly, but made the unit look sh|t, lol. I can recommend the Griffin or the iFrogz Fitz iPhone adapters.
The iFrogz Fitz is the best imo, 'cos it's as small as it can possibly get, and looks the best. :D I got them all from Amazon.

But doesn't Belkin have a newer model, that is half the size
as the old one you are showing in the photo ?

Oh right. In which case, I stand corrected. :)

I think that I am going to go with the ifrogz one, it is one the cheaper and smaller options, and comes in white. (I have white skullcandy earphones)

Shure MPA...controls and quality, although it adds length, in that case i would recommend the apple one

I decided just to cut my headphones, only had to cut off about 1/16 of an inch. It is not the most beautiful solution, but it looks great when plugged in, and definitely looks better than an adapter sticking out.

I think this is for the people who have a hard time hearing. It's a TTY adapter. It's not a headphone adapter. Sorry.

screw those adapters. especially if you have 'L' connectors on your headphones the adapters just get messy. i simply trimmed away a bit on my shure e2c's with an exacto knife. fit like a glove.

I love my Shure headphones. And the adaptor works for the newer generation headphones, which have the breakaway chords, as opposed to the e-series L shaped chords.

seriously! just cut a little plastic away to make your headphones fit. very easy and costs nothing, fits perfectly. do it, do it. i don't know why so many people haven't thought of this. companies put too much plastic padding on the wires anyway.
