old ibook wont boot

hello, i found an old clamshell ibook today. it started right up and all; seemed to work fine. well, now it wont boot at all. im by no means talented in this area, but i love to tinker around with stuff, i tried putting an airport extreme card into the wireless slot, and of course i dont think to shut the machine down to pull it back out. basically the screen distorted and froze. did the logic board get toasted? thanks in advance

Do you mean the Apple Original wireless card or the newer Extreme card which is half as small? Only the original airports will fit into the Clamshells.

Does the clamshell model have the pmu reset button? Otherwise try a PRAM reset.
